By uploading a PDF file, selecting document sections, generating flashcards, and
importing them into Anki through our service, you signify your agreement to these
terms.

## 2. User Conduct and Obligations
You agree to use Gerer Flashcards in a manner consistent with all applicable laws
and regulations. Specifically, you will NOT:

- Upload, download, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any 
  content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, 
  defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful,
  or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, 
  trademarks, trade secrets, or any other proprietary rights.
- Upload content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or
  under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, 
  proprietary, and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of 
  employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements).
- Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar 
  software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer.
- Conduct any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, 
  "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of 
  solicitation.
- Intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national 
  or international law, including, but not limited to, regulations promulgated by
  any securities exchange.

## 3. Intellectual Property Rights
You acknowledge that Gerer Flashcards does not claim ownership of the content you
submit or make available for inclusion on the service. However, in relation to 
content you submit or make available for inclusion on publicly accessible areas 
of the service, you grant Gerer Flashcards a worldwide, royalty-free, and 
non-exclusive license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly 
perform, and publicly display such content on the service solely for the purpose 
for which such content was submitted or made available.

## 4. Content Monitoring
Gerer Flashcards does not pre-screen or regularly review uploaded content, but 
Gerer Flashcards reserves the right to remove or to refuse to display any content
that, in its sole discretion, violates these terms or may be offensive, illegal, 
or violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of any person.

## 5. Disclaimer of Warranties
You expressly understand and agree that your use of Gerer Flashcards is at your 
sole risk. The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Gerer 
Flashcards and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, 
partners, and licensors expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether 
express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of 
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

## 6. Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that Gerer Flashcards and its subsidiaries, 
affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be 
liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or 
exemplary damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service or for 
cost of procurement of substitute goods and services.

## 7. General Information
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Gerer Flashcards and 
govern your use of the service, superseding any prior agreements between you and 
Gerer Flashcards. The terms and the relationship between you and Gerer Flashcards
shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company operates 
without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

## 8. Violations
Please report any violations of these terms to our customer service group.
